Symbolism in Painting

This project required students to combine elements from two different paintings (e.g. a figure, landscape element etc.) and then add their own symbolic object or motif.  They turned out wonderfully, however, these are the only two photos I have.

163 Careers in the Visual Arts

This probably needs to be updated yet again since I first stumbled upon it about 15 years ago.  I like to give it to the kids at the beginning of the year but also to their parents when I meet them in September.
